Baptism:
Parents must attend a Baptismal Preparation Class if they have not done so within the last three years. Classes are scheduled monthly. Please contact our DRE at dre@saintanselm.org to arrange for a Baptism and to enroll in a Baptismal Preparation Class. Families should be practicing Catholics. Please put “Baptism” in the header.

Reconciliation:
Confessions are heard in the church sacristy Tuesdays at 8:30AM, Fridays at 8:30AM, and Sundays at 10:45AM. Priest and penitent must wear face masks. FOR CHRISTMAS, Confessions will also be heard Thursdays (Dec. 9, 16, and 23) at 7:00PM sharp. The priest will only stay if people are in line and coming to Confession, so be sure to arrive on time, or early.
First Communion:
Preparation for First Communion requires two years of religious education starting with 1st grade. Please contact our Director of Religious Education for more information: dre@saintanselm.org. To enroll in our Sacrament Preparation Program, or for more information, click here.

Anointing of the Sick:
If you are undergoing surgery or facing a serious illness, please contact the pastor at (415) 453-2342 or by email at fr.brown@saintanselm.org to arrange for the reception of this Sacrament.
Marriage:
Weddings here are celebrated at 11:00am or 2:00pm on Saturdays. Please call at least 6 months prior to the anticipated date of the wedding. The priest or deacon will meet with you to set the wedding date. There are a number of options available for the pre-marriage preparation. A packet describing the options and explanation of many of the details of preparation for a wedding at St. Anselm Church is available.
