Understanding Prayer
In response to Pope Francis' special call for prayer during 2024 ahead of the anticipated Jubilee in 2025, St. Anselm parish conducted a multi-session series on deepening our understanding of prayer. As the Holy Father explained, the Year of Prayer is dedicated “to rediscovering the great value and absolute need for prayer, prayer in personal life, in the life of the Church, prayer in the world.”
Reconciliation Service Tonight
Tuesday, December 17 from 7 - 8 pm
As Catholics, we're encourage to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation throughout the year and, in particular, during the seasons of Advent and Lent. Fr. Gabriel Wankar will expose the Blessed Sacrament at 7 pm and then various visiting priests will be available to hear your confession. Come prepare for the coming of the Lord in this beautiful sacrament

The Archdiocesan Office for Marriage and Family life has arranged for Damon Owens, an internationally known speaker on marriage and relationships, to speak to Marin county parishioners in Centennial Hall this Friday, January 31.

Recollection to Embrace the Lenten season
"He Emptied Himself" (Phil 2:7): Spiritual Almsgiving and the Spirit of Lent
Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on March 5th. To fully appreciate the season, Dr. Margaret Turek will be giving a 1-hour talk with Q& A on Saturday, March 8 starting at 9:30 am in Centennial Hall.
About the Talk
While appealing to a sensibility of generosity toward the poor, the reflections will dwell upon key New Testament texts, keeping our gaze fixed primarily on Christ, and accentuate the profoundly spiritual dimension of almsgiving.

Lenten Soup Supper Tonight!
Friday, April 4 at 5:30 pm, before Stations of the Cross
Share a simple Lenten meal with fellow parishioners in Centennial Hall. This soup supper will be hosted by our St. Anselm Parish Hospitality Committee. All are welcome. Join in and introduce yourself to someone new. After supper, pray The Stations of the Cross in the church which begins at 7 pm.
Administrative Assistant for Parish Office
St. Anselm Church has an opening for an Administrative Assistant in the Parish Office.

For over 115 years, we have gathered in St. Anselm Church to celebrate life events: Baptisms, First Communions, Reconciliations, Confirmations, Weddings, Funerals and school activities. This beautiful facility now needs our assistance.
Our Finance Council invited a group of parishioners and professionals to evaluate the needs of our church structure.
